The works are mainly from unities and individuals in China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. We also welcome the designers abroad. The enterprises, special designing institution, institutions of higher education, scientific research institutions, social groups and individuals engaging in work related with designing can declare.

( I )Clock Professional Group
1.Product design award: the products that have been on the market in the recent two years or the new products with existing samples about to be on the market.  
2.Conceptual works award: it must be a forward-looking design work with great innovation in the function, structure, technology, form, material, process, energy conservation, environmental protection and other aspects to focus on solving the development needs of the related industries.    
( II )Watch Professional Group
1.Product design award group A (mechanical watch): the products that have been on the market in the recent two years or the new products with existing samples about to be on the market.  
2.Product design award group B (quartz watch including smartwatch): the products that have been on the market in the recent two years or the new products with existing samples about to be on the market.
3.Product design award group C (craft innovation watch): the products that have been on the market in the recent two years or the new products with existing samples about to be on the market.
4. Conceptual works award: it must be a forward-looking design work with great innovation in the function, structure, technology, form, material, process, energy conservation, environmental protection and other aspects to focus on solving the development needs of the related industries.  
( III ) Student Group (Need To Be a Student In School)
Conceptual works award: it must be a forward-looking design work with unique and novel design idea, outstanding innovation point as well as strong commercial conversion value.  
( IV ) The Belt and Road Theme Design Group
Theme: Chinese expression, world sharing.
Use the Belt and Road theme to design the exchange and integration of Chinese traditional culture and world culture, enhance understanding and mutual development of other cultures, promote the diverse coexistence of ethnic cultures, dialogue and communication with each other, and encourage innovation in clock design.
( V ) Colorful Zhangzhou Theme Design Group
Theme：Multicultural and Colorful Zhangzhou
The theme design team works need to integrate the local intangible cultural elements of Zhangzhou (such as printmaking, craft painting, Gezai opera, Babao seal, earthenware, paper cutting, Zhang embroidery, Clark porcelain, etc.) Folk art such as cloth bag puppet show and Xiang opera; Zhenbei lacquer painting, Kowloon wall jade carving and other materials; She, Hui, Alpine and other totems or guqin, calligraphy and painting, lamp mystery art, daffodil and other related elements.


1.All entries must be original and have not won any prizes in previous China (Blue Light Cup) Horologe Design Competition or other ministerial and provincial-level, industrial or national competitions, which are in line with the concept, design motif and purpose of this competition.

2.It shall have avant-garde creativity, strong expression, aesthetic modeling, as well as unity of form and spirit. The overall style shall be simple, fashion, modern and innovative; with clear style, strong sense of inheritance and transmissibility.

3.It shall have a strong sense of integrity and aesthetic, and the theme and design language shall have strong penetration and appeal. At the same time, it shall pay attention to the combination of the design and craft, and the combination of Chinese and foreign horological design culture, as well as the combination of commerce and art. It is necessary to be manufacturable and practical.

4.The contestants can submit their applications to the office of the Organizing Committee of the Competition through online registration. All works of the contestants shall not be identified with the marks, LOGO, commercial advertising slogans and website links that are unrelated to the design of the works and the information that is irrelevant to the sender. Otherwise, it will be deemed invalid. (Note: a work can only be submitted for one category with one theme, and multiple categories cannot be submitted simultaneously.)

5.All the pictures and materials of the entries will not be returned (physical works can be brought voluntarily during the rematch). Please keep your own draft. The intellectual property rights of the entries belong to the contestants, and the designer owns the copyright of the work. At the same time, the Organizing Committee of the Competition can publicize and promote the entries, auction and carry other commercial activities. (The pictures should be JPG images with a format greater than 1M)

6.The contestants shall guarantee to have the complete copyright of the work and shall not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others and their rights and interests; and shall be fully liable for the claims arising from the breach of the foregoing. And the organizer shall have the right to unilaterally disqualify him from the competition and the award of the prize, revoke the award-winning title, withdraw the award certificate, bonus, trophy, and publicize it through the website and other public media.
